Brian O'Driscoll video pulled after he names Gareth Davies as Wales' greatest ever player
A video which sees Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll name scrum-half Gareth Davies as Wales' greatest ever rugby player has been removed from social media.
In an interview with TNT Sports, the 45-year-old former Lions captain was tasked at naming the best player ever to play for a number of Tier 1 nations. O'Driscoll quickly set about naming his picks, which included flanker Richard Hill for England, superstar scrum-half Antoine Dupont for France and the legendary Mike Gibson for his beloved Ireland.
But his selection for Wales raised more than just a few eyebrows, as he named Davies as his pick without any hesitation.

The 34-year-old Scarlets star, who retired from international rugby last month, had a fine decade-long Test career, earning 77 caps for Wales. Davies, who also toured twice with the Lions, crossed for 17 tries for his country and wrote himself into Welsh rugby history for his vital score against England at the 2015 World Cup.
But while he was a player who certainly gave everything for the shirt, even his biggest fan would struggle to justify him being selected as Wales' greatest ever star - with many viewers initially baffled by O'Driscoll's choice.
Soon after the video was published on the broadcaster's social media channels, fans began to suggest that the Irishman had meant to pick the legendary Sir Gareth Edwards and simply got their names muddled up.
In a blow for Davies, it would appear that some mistake had indeed been made as the clip was promptly removed from TNT Sports' social media pages.
