Bristol Street Motors Trophy draw, Birmingham City prize money and Wembley route
Birmingham City are through to the next round of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy after they collected seven points from their three group games in the early stages of the competition. Blues took a point when beaten on penalties by Walsall but after comprehensively beating Shrewsbury and hammering Fulham under 21s, they have progressed after finishing second in their group.
Blues are the top scorers in the competition having bagged a staggering 12 goals in their first three games, including seven against Fulham's youngsters alone. The Southern Group A concluded on Tuesday night as Walsall beat Shrewsbury 3-0 - they book their place at the top of the group.

The draw
The next round, the round of 32, will be played the week commencing the 9th of December. The date for the draw for the next round hasn't yet been confirmed publicly but in recent years it has always taken place towards the end of November. There remains one more game, next week, when Rotherham tackle Bradford and the draw will presumably take place on the other side of that game, so watch this space.
The dates of the coming rounds
Round of 32: W/C 9 December
Round of 16: W/C 13 January
Quarter-Finals: W/C 3 February
Semi-Finals: W/C 17 February
Final: 13 April
Prize money
Blues earned £10,000 for each of their wins over Shrewsbury and Fulham under 21s and another £5,000 more for their draw against Walsall. Each side is given £20,000 for participating in the competition, and then you're awarded £10,000 for each victory and £5,000 for each draw in the group stage.
Sides who reach the last 32 and progress earn £20,000 more and then £40,000 if they win their last 16 tie. As much as £50,000 is up for grabs for the victors of the quarter finals and then you receive £100,000 if you win the final at Wembley - £50,000 more is sent to the runner up of the competition. If they were to win the thing from here, Blues would have accumulated up to £255,000 in prize money.
The possible opponents
The rounds 32 and 16 remain regionalised, so Blues - finishing second and unseeded - will play one of the other seven southern section group winners. They are Wycombe, Charlton, Cheltenham, Colchester, Peterborough, Burton and Exeter.
Blues can't play Aston Villa under 21s, who are in the northern section of the draw, until the quarter final stage at the earliest in the event that both sides reach that hurdle.
The odds
Blues, perhaps to be expected, are the favourites with the bookies to win the competition from here - overwhelmingly so. Currently with SkyBet the market reads...
Birmingham 7/2
Wrexham 9/1
Peterborough 10/1
Bolton 12/1
Huddersfield 12/1
Wycombe 12/1
Charlton 14/1
Stockport 14/1
BAR 16/1
