Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford make their feelings on Man United star Amad clear
Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford have both sent clear Manchester United messages to Amad following his starring role against Paok in the Europa League. The 22-year-old grabbed a second-half brace to help United earn their first victory in Europe this campaign and maintain Ruud van Nistelrooy's unbeaten run as interim head coach.
The former United striker has now overseen home wins against Leicester and Paok, with a draw against Chelsea also coming in between. United are back at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon - with Leicester again their visitors - before November's international break begins and Ruben Amorim steps on board.
Following the departure of Erik ten Hag, United acted quickly in appointing Amorim as the Dutchman's successor with an agreement struck that would only see him join from Sporting CP on Monday, November 11. With that date fast-approaching, United players have one final chance to impress their next head coach.

Amad is one player that was on the fringes during the final weeks of Ten Hag's tenure, but he's certainly doing all he can to become a regular starter once again. An excellent brace will have gone some way to doing exactly that, but he did leave the Paok match early with an injury scare.
"He had to come off, unfortunately," Van Nistelrooy said in his post-match press conference. "He's being assessed now and I hope he will be available for Sunday but we do have to wait and see." Rashford and Fernandes certainly appear hopeful he will be fit following their messages on social media.
Following his goals, Amad took to Instagram in celebration as he captioned a post: "It's Always GOD [finger up emoji]." Rashford simply replied with a love heart emoji while United's captain - who assisted Amad's first strike - sent a shrugged shoulders emoji in response.
Van Nistelrooy now faces a big decision in attacking quarters following Amad's midweek performance. If he's fit, a start against Leicester is surely guaranteed with a choice between Alejandro Garnacho and Rashford then needing to be made, with Rasmus Hojlund also to factor in centrally.
