Cammy Devlin insists he's desperate to lift some silverware at Hearts.

The Australian midfielder is preparing to enter his third season at Tynecastle and has guaranteed European football on the horizon after the Jambos finished best of the rest to restore their status as Scotland's third force. And while it was a season to remember for the Gorgie faithful, Devlin admits it still hurts to look back on their two semi-final defeats to Rangers.

The 25-year-old is more determined than ever to rectify that next term as he dreams of joining the list of cup-winning legends at Tynecastle. He said: "That's my main aim at the club - to get a trophy.

"It's still been a successful season. We now need to get better again. You set targets at the start of the year and finishing in a European group-stage place was one, and we've done that again.

"To bring a cup to Tynecastle and to the fans would be the one thing I'd want to do. Rangers knocked us out every time this year. We have a break now, and when we come back there will be two cups that hopefully we can go one better in.

"The gaffer was in his first season, and he's been really good with everyone. All the boys have had spells when they contributed. The whole team, the depth he's created and the boys we have in that changing room, there's so much quality. It's looking good for the future."
