Chelsea braced for Benoit Badiashile 'interest' in January amid clear transfer stance
Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge ahead of the January transfer window. Badiashile's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks and rumours continue to swirl that he could leave the Blues either in the New Year or next summer.
The centre-back has made nine appearances for Chelsea this season, but only one has come in the Premier League which was a 37-minute cameo against Liverpool last month.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have expressed an interest in signing Badiashile in the January transfer window. The report claims that the Serie A giants are interested in signing a new centre-back when the transfer window reopens and have already identified several potential targets.

Badiashile has emerged as a potential new signing for Juventus, with the Italian club reportedly already approaching Chelsea over a deal to sign the 23-year-old.
It has been reported that Juventus' plan would be to sign a new defender on loan in January, with the possibility of the deal being made permanent at the end of the season. As well as Badiashile, the Chelsea centre-back is also reportedly joined on a shortlist alongside Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah, Fulham's Joachim Andersen, Tottenham Hotspur's Radu Dragusin, Feyenoord's David Hancko and Paris Saint-Germain's Milan Skriniar.
Badiashile recently spoke about his future at Chelsea amid speculation about his future, where he admitted that he was determined to enjoy a successful career at Stamford Bridge.
"Of course I want to stay - Chelsea is a big club and I know how difficult it is to succeed here," Badiashile is quoted saying earlier this month. "I will try to do my best to do it."
Despite the reported interest in Badiashile, football.london understands that Chelsea have no plans to let the centre-back leave the club and is still deemed to have a long-term future with the Blues.
