Chelsea have Mykhailo Mudryk dilemma as Joao Felix's Cole Palmer problem becomes perfectly clear
Chelsea cruised to a 4-1 win in Athens in what was, on paper, one of the most difficult tests for them in the Conference League league phase.
Two goals from Joao Felix and one each from Mykhailo Mudryk and Christopher Nkunku was enough for the Blues to silence the crowd at the Athens Olympic Stadium. Facundo Pellistri got one back for Panathinaikos but it proved to be a mere consolation for the hosts.
Bobby Vincent was in Athens for the match and he has picked out some talking points and moments you may have missed...
Mudryk dilemma
What a display that was from the Ukrainian. You can say what you want about the opposition - and you could have a point but he can only play what is in front of him and he did it so well.
Mudryk's assist for Felix, for the first goal, was brilliant. What you may not have noticed is that the 23-year-old winger waited and waited before playing the cross at the perfect time so the passing angle was on for him and then Felix did the rest.

The Ukrainian then took his goal brilliantly; running into the box, to the far post specifically, and showing Maresca that hard work, those extra training sessions, do indeed pay off.
"Very happy, not for me but for him," Maresca explained post-match. "We as a staff, we spend a long, long time to help the players; not only Misha but the whole squad. Since we started, we are working with Misha and all the wingers to arrive in the box, into the position where Misha scored.
"He struggled to arrive there and now he is starting to arrive there. That is where we are going to score goals. It's for him, it's for Jadon [Sancho], it's for Noni [Madueke], it's for Pedro [Neto] - all of the wingers. They need to be in position because the ball is going to arrive in that position.
"We want the best for Misha. Since day one, we are trying to help Misha. Probably for him, he is one of the guys that the learning process is more slow compared to the rest but he is improving. I'm sure that slowly, slowly we will have Misha scoring more goals and being important for us."
A performance like that must get Enzo Maresca thinking. As good as Jadon Sancho has been since coming in late in the summer transfer window, Mudryk provides a different option - and it could be a case of Maresca not wanting to disrupt some potential momentum when Chelsea take on Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
Felix brilliance
While Mudryk is providing a selection dilemma for Maresca, the same cannot be said about Felix - but to no fault of his own. Felix has Cole Palmer to compete with, and that is his biggest problem at Chelsea.
Felix was magical on Thursday night. He looked worlds apart from most of the players on the pitch at the Athens Olympic Stadium. It seemed obvious to those watching that a player of the 24-year-old's level should not be playing Conference League football.
The former Atletico Madrid star was unplayable on Thursday night; dropping into positions that would leave him unmarked because the Panathinaikos central defenders would leave him as they feared vacating their positions. He told us on Wednesday that it would be a matter of time before he becomes a regular starter for the Blues - despite Palmer, September's Premier League Player of the Month, being ahead of him in the pecking order.
"I spoke with Enzo before I signed for Chelsea," Felix said. "I like what he said to me, I like the way he thinks, the way he thinks of football, the way he plays, I like what he said. I knew the competition would be hard.
"I am here to work. I know what I can do, what I am able to do and how I can help the team. It is just a matter of time I think. You will never see me stop working. I am here to follow my dreams. It is just a matter of time."
