It has been another year of change for Chelsea in 2024.

The club made the decision to part ways with former boss Mauricio Pochettino in the summer, replacing him with Championship-winning manager Enzo Maresca from Leicester City.

A sixth-placed finish the previous campaign saw the Blues return to European football this season in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

As ever in recent times, a whole host of new names arrived in west London ahead of the new campaign including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Maresca’s former club, Pedro Neto from Wolves and returning Joao Felix on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid

The new boss has made a strong start to life at Stamford Bridge with the club currently sitting third behind Liverpool and Arsenal at the start of December.

And with the New Year quickly approaching, we want to know who you think should be the Chelsea Fans’ Footballer of the Year for 2024.

Here are our nominations for this year’s award, selected by Football.London’s Bobby Vincent:

Cole Palmer

This man needs absolutely no introduction. With an astonishing 26 goals since the turn of the year, Cole Palmer has been simply sensational for club and country. Palmer has essentially established himself as a brand at Chelsea - which speaks volumes about a generational talent that the club have on their books.

Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson has really come into his own at Chelsea. It was a slightly difficult start for the Senegalese striker at Stamford Bridge but as time goes on, he is becoming more and more accomplished. With 15 goals in 2024, Jackson has become one of the first names on the team sheet.

Moises Caicedo

Moises Caicedo has come of age. It was always going to be difficult to live up to the £115million price-tag that added such expectation and pressure on his shoulders, but as time has moved on, fewer people are mentioning the fee; a testament to how good he has been this year.

Levi Colwill

Levi Colwill had a difficult season last time around with the defender being used in an unnatural role at left-back. However, since moving into the centre under Enzo Maresca, Colwill has become such a crucial player for Chelsea and is quickly becoming the leader at the back that everyone predicted.

As mentioned, you can cast your vote by submitting the form in the widget - you can also take part in the overall award whilst you’re there.
