Christopher Nkunku sends 'perfect' eight-word message ahead of Arsenal clash

Christopher Nkunku has taken to Instagram after Chelsea's 8-0 Europa Conference League demolition of FC Noah and ahead of the important clash with Arsenal.

Chelsea's perfect start to the night began when with Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu and Axel Disasi all got on the score sheet within 20 minutes. Just a few minutes later, Joao Felix bagged a brace while Mykhailo Mudryk also got on the scoresheet.

Nkunku then scored the last two goals for the Blues, seven minutes apart from one another. His quick-fire double wrapped up the remarkable night at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca's side have won all three games in the European competition so far and sit top of the standing, level on points with Poland's Legia Warsaw and Jagiellonia Białystok, Austria's Rapid Wien, Portugal's Vitoria Sport Clube and Germany's Heidenheim.

"I think the players, once again, showed how professional and serious they are," Maresca said when asked about what pleased him the most. "It's very easy to sleep, or fall down, in these kind of games.

"Football is full of surprise. I said to them before the game to show how serious we are, how professional. I think they showed that and it's an important message for all of us."

Nkunku has so far scored four goals in the Conference League while also providing an assist in three games. Taking to Instagram after the game, the 26-year-old wrote: "Perfect night at the Bridge. Focus on Sunday," followed by a muscle emoji.

Despite starting in all three European games, Nkunku has only made one start in the Premier League so far. Ahead of Arsenal's visit to Stamford Bridge, Nkunku will certainly be looking to get the nod from Maresca on Sunday.
