Confirmed Celtic vs Rangers team news as Daizen Maeda call made by Brendan Rodgers

The talking will soon be over when Celtic and Rangers take to the field of play at Parkhead. And after 90 minutes, the title will either be essentially over or very much on.

The Light Blues go into it with the most jeopardy on their side as they know defeat would make it nigh on impossible to overcome the six goal deficit that would exist with two games to play, adding the fact the Hoops have a better goal difference.

Philippe Clement insists it is not 'must-win' for his men but he will know deep down he really needs them to do something they haven't managed in four years by digging out a special victory in the east end. Brendan Rodgers riled his opponent with comments made last week but seemed relaxed in his own press conference, helped by the fact he's only ever lost one derby.

Much has been said about this one, including by the two managers, but it's time for that to end and the talking to be done on the pitch. The teams are now in for the lunchtime clash and are as follows:

Celtic starting XI: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Hatate, Forrest, Maeda, Kyogo.

Subs: Bain, Palma, Idah, Kuhn, Nawrocki, Iwata, Bernardo, Ralston, Welsh.

Rangers starting XI: Butland, Tavernier, Souttar, Davies, Barisic, Lundstram, Diomande, Lawrence, Sterling, Silva, Dessers.

Subs: McCrorie, Ridvan, Cantwell, Dowell, Wright, Roofe, King, Raskin, McCausland.
