Confirmed Hearts vs Celtic team news as Vargas dropped and Carter Vickers returns
It's one of the showpiece fixtures in the Scottish football calendar as Hearts take on Celtic under the lights at Tynecastle.
Brendan Rodgers' side are in the capital for some Saturday night action as they look to build on their unbeaten start to the league campaign. While both sides are at opposite ends of the table, second-bottom Hearts have shown signs of recovery under Neil Critchley and were unfortunate to have left Ibrox empty-handed before the international break after outplaying Rangers.
The Jam Tarts know they are capable of causing a shock on home soil when the Old Firm come to town and the Gorgie faithful will be hoping for a famous victory against the Hoops. The hosts welcome back Yutaro Oda following a two-month lay-off but Calem Nieuwenhof (hamstring) is still not ready to be considered for selection.
