Coventry City next manager odds as new clear favourite emerges to replace Mark Robins

Coventry City are on the look-out for a new manager after they made the decision to sack Mark Robins on Thursday. Robins spent seven and a half years in charge of the club, through off-field turbulence, and led them out of the other side, and through a takeover, with stability and with significant progress having been made.

The decision now has come after a slower start to this campaign and despite wins over Luton and Middlesbrough, the Sky Blues fell to a disappointing defeat to Derby County on Wednesday night at the CBS Arena. That proved to be the final time supporters would see Robins on the touchline.

Now, attentions have turned to who Doug King and co might look to to succeed Robins with - it's very early days and the bookmakers are only just drawing up their markets with potential candidates. Some names have emerged already, however, with some familiar figures towards the top of the list...
