Coventry City ‘watching’ Championship manager as Frank Lampard ‘set for talks’
Coventry City are reportedly keeping a close eye on Rob Edwards’ situation at Championship strugglers Luton Town.
Edwards guided Luton to the Premier League in 2023 at Coventry's expense but the Hatters have struggled since returning to the second tier. They have lost eight of their 15 matches this season and are only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
The Sun claims Edwards, 41, has considered quitting Luton and would be of interest to Coventry if he was available for free. Edwards has vast coaching experience having worked with Wolverhampton Wanderers and The FA before taking the leap into management with Forest Green in 2021.
