Daizen Maeda could be unleashed against Hearts tomorrow after the Celtic miracle man returned to full training.

Japanese flying machine Maeda was expected to miss the rest of the campaign after suffering a hamstring injury in the wake of last month's 3-3 draw at Ibrox. But the 26-year-old defied the odds by making a remarkable recovery and has now made himself available for the run-in as Celts chase a league and Scottish Cup double.

Maeda was spotted training alongside his teammates at Lennoxtown today and now energetic attacker could be involved tomorrow as the Jambos visit Parkhead. Brendan Rodgers' side can take a major step towards three-in-a-row by ending their two-game losing streak against the Tynecastle side.

The Hoops are potentially just TWO games away from being crowned champions and with rivals Rangers not in action until Sunday at home to Kilmarnock, Celts could put the pressure on by moving six points clear on Saturday.

Parkhead boss Rodgers will give a full update on Maeda's fitness when he speaks to the press this afternoon.
