Dana White teases new Paddy Pimblett fight details as Liverpool UFC star hailed
UFC chief Dana White has hinted that Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett's return to the octagon could happen in the United Kingdom in 2025 - with Renato Moicano named as a possible opponent.
The 29-year-old, who hails from Huyton, defeated American King Green via first-round submission at UFC 304 in Manchester earlier this year to move into the lightweight rankings for the first time.
Following that, Pimblett seemed set for a bout with fellow ranked lightweight Moicano until the Brazilian sustained a shoulder injury during a recent victory against Benoit Saint-Denis in September.
White, though, has heaped praise on Liverpool MMA star Pimblett and hinted that a bout against Moicano could be scheduled for either the UK or Abu Dhabi early next year.

"Paddy killed it. Again, a lot of negative surrounding Paddy. A lot of naysayers about what he is capable of doing and I think he shut a lot of people up with that performance," White told TNT Sports. "Again, another massive star of the UK that I'm sure we'll be doing something with him over there soon."
Asked about a potential fight between Pimblett and Moicano, White replied: "They could end up fighting, obviously. He could end up fighting in the UK or in Abu Dhabi."
