David Moyes has been out of work since the summer but is ready to get back into the managerial rough and tumble of the English Premier League.

The Scot left his previous role at West Ham at the end of last season with the incoming boss Julen Lopetegui winning only three of his 11 games so far, which can only further improve Moyes' stock, given his relative success at the London club. Once of Manchester United and Everton, he brought European Glory to the Hammers by winning the Europa Conference League in 2023, which will have him on the shortlists of many struggling top-flight clubs down south.

Southampton, Leicester, Crystal Palace, and Wolves are all in a bit of a rut currently and it would come as a shock to no one if any of the club's respective managers were let go anytime soon. Moyes, who won LMA Manager Of The Year in 2003, 2005 and 2009, has now been tentatively linked by talkSPORT with potentially stepping in at either of the aforementioned sides should the positions become available.

The 61-year-old has also been linked in the past with two roles back in his homeland, with previous Celtic openings often leading to his name being mentioned among the runners and riders and some suggesting he is a Scotland-boss-in-waiting whenever Steve Clarke's time comes to an end.

Indeed, three of the four clubs listed above are managed by people tipped by the bookies as the most likely to face the sack next.

Russell Martin (Southampton) - 5/4

Gary O'Neil (Wolves) -7/1

Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace) - 8/1

The former Dunfermline, Hamilton, and Celtic player has kept his profile up since the summer too, featuring on a recent episode of the Stick To Football Podcast, with his name constantly linked to a number of Premier League jobs.
