Derby County display splits opinion as verdict given on rest of season
Paul Warne refused to be critical of Derby County after their 1-1 draw against Plymouth in a frustrating encounter that failed to net all three points ahead of the international break.
The Rams go into the break firmly in the middle of the table with plenty of highs so far this season, and their fair share of bumps along the way.
Are Derby punching above their weight? Or should they be doing better? As ever, the fans will always have the final say on their team, and our messageboards have never been busier.

DerbyBornDerbyBred: We never seem in control, and it will cost us.
risleyram: Every team we play will say we need three points of Derby because they are one of the worse teams in the division. Plymouth have beaten Sunderland this season they would definitely us as a team they could take points of
mikeeast: Thompson best on the pitch. We didn't get the subs right and we looked jaded by the end.
Should have been home and dry by the interval.
Assekrem: Poor game, again, should have won. Forsyth our best players, Jackson comfortably the worst. In very poor form but always seems to play. NML hampered having to play on the left, need CBT to get given a chance. Nelson at fault for the free kick they scored from, stepped out and didn't get there, and not for the first time this season.
Brilliant finish from Yates, and a superb effort from inside his own half. Adams hares around, but too often on his own, and having to make tackles from behind facing his own goal. It isn't working.
Caddyshack10: We just don’t have the players needed, no quality in midfield, we cannot create goal scoring opportunities from open play, we are relying on corners, pass backs & deflections, we are desperate for the next level of finance from outside of the club. Hopefully we have enough to finish 4th from bottom or better
Adem: At the start of the season, I'd have been absolutely delighted to be 12th in November. Considering we've barely spent any money, the club is in a really solid position right now. As and when money becomes available to improve the quality, especially in the top third of the pitch, I would trust this current group to spend it more than anyone else in the last decade. We're currently punching a bit above our weight.
EricBlair4U: More lost points thanks to PW. Poor use of subs. Brown should have had more minutes. CBT should have been given minutes for Jackson. When you put a target man on then that is where the balls should be going, take advantage of his height and muscle, instead Brown had no real service. Our 3 midfielders are in a line when they should be in a triangle and closer together. The weak winger/wing back is too far out and needs to pinch into the middle when the triangle midfield are the strong side and can offer support options. The full backs have no option to pass inside and have to send a hopeful pass up the line. I like the training ground circle dance they used once on a corner. Overall a good performance but this should have been a game won in the first half.
