Dimitar Berbatov lands new job as Tottenham truth set to be revealed

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov will be joining David Jones and Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football next week.

The Bulgarian striker featured for Spurs, Manchester United and Fulham during an exceptional career in the Premier League. He will be in the studio tomorrow as Fulham host Brentford at Craven Cottage.

This is the first time that Berbatov has appeared on Sky Sports' flagship show as a pundit which normally takes a different style to the conventional Premier League matchday coverage. The 43-year-old will be asked to go through the Premier League action from this weekend alongside Carragher to provide a more analytical overview of the action.

After wrapping up the post-match analysis, the panel will then dive into Berbatov's career before the show ends. These segments have often be praised for how they showcase a player or manager's career in a different light.

Among the topics that will likely come up will be Berbatov's move from Tottenham to United. The striker had looked destined to join Manchester City before switching to Old Trafford when he learned of Sir Alex Ferguson's interest.

Alongside that, we will likely find out more about his time in North London and how he looks back on his spell with Spurs post-playing career. Berbatov is not a stranger to Sky Sports having appeared on their coverage already this season.
