Tony Docherty has confirmed his interest in out-of-contract Livingston striker Bruce Anderson. But the Dundee boss could face competition for Kilmarnock for his signature.

Former Aberdeen starlet Anderson, 25, is set to call time on his three years at relegated Livi this summer and has attracted interest from Scotland and England. Docherty and Killie manager Derek McInnes both worked with the forward at Pittodrie and could now be involved in a transfer tug-of-war.

Docherty confirmed the Scot is on his radar as the Dees gaffer said: "He's one among a long list of players we are looking at. As always, when the time is right we'll make comment on it."

Meanwhile Docherty is equally keen to tie down some of his key men on new deals after clinching their top-six place. Stars like Luke McCowan and Lyall Cameron are out of contract next summer and Doc said: "Not as yet, it's something we are addressing as a recruitment team.

"We are identifying targets to come in but also players who have done well for us this year. Nothing to report just now but there certainly will be as time goes on. We've been active - and always are in the background - in recruitment. There will be loads of speculation but until there's anything to confirm I'll keep it in-house."
