Eden Hazard has a sharp new haircut, dropping a small wink the way of his former club Chelsea, in the process. Now enjoying his retirement from professional football, the beloved Belgian has not relented in maintaining his style.

During his playing days, very little changed for Hazard. His short trim remained slick, and towards the end he started having them documented online by popular Instagram barber A-Star Barbers. Now, as he turns to other pastimes in the absence of a footballing career, Hazard has switched things up.

In a new video, Hazard's recent cut not only provides a much-needed freshening up but also a dye. In true Hazard fashion, it has a splash of blue as well.

Ending up almost metallic, Hazard was given a fade - as usual - with the top now an eye-catching light blue-lavender colour. A possible ode to his former club, the ex-Chelsea man certainly caught the attention.

With the Blues set to visit Liverpool on Sunday - the ground where two of Hazard's more spectacular solo goals were scored in 2016 and 2018 - perhaps it can even be seen as a message of support for Enzo Maresca's side. For now, Chelsea fans will just be happy to see Hazard with a smile on his face once more.

Although only into his early 30s, Hazard announced a premature retirement 12 months ago. After a miserable few years at Real Madrid, which had been marred by injury, the previously dynamic and exciting winger called time on his playing career.

He has since remained largely out of the public eye - as he was even as a Premier League superstar - but did make his return to Stamford Bridge earlier this year. Playing in Soccer Aid, Hazard scored a typically brilliant free-kick back at SW6.

Hazard was also used as part of the promotion for Chelsea's new home kit this season. He was seen at the Cobham training ground over the summer too to collect footage for the marketing team.
