Elizabeth Hurley may have been directed by her son, Damian, in her latest film — but he's clearly taking style cues from his mom.

Despite the downpour in New York City on April 3, the mother-son pair showed up to the Strictly Confidential screening looking flawless in coordinating skin-baring looks.

Elizabeth, who plays Lily in the steamy thriller, channeled the sexy storytelling of the film in a two-toned silver gown. The metallic design featured a deep V-neckline displaying her décolletage and a thigh-high slit that showcased her golden heels. She accessorized with sparkly drop earrings and a bracelet.

The model, 58, also effortlessly pulled off a smokey eye, nude lips and a major blowout with voluminous mermaid waves that somehow won against the humidity and heavy rain.

Damian, who turned 22 on April 4, followed his mom’s lead in an equally plunging satin wrap-around top showing off his chest, a long cross-pendant necklace accentuating the deep cut, black trousers and boots. With his brown shoulder-length strands styled in effortlessly cool layers, he also proved that good hair genes run in the family.

The pair clearly know how to turn a red carpet into their runway (Elizabeth and Damian also attended Vanity Fair’s Oscars afterparty in similar looks). They’re also surprisingly on the same wavelength when it comes to working together.

For the Hurleys, working on Strictly Confidential was a great experience thanks to the deep bond they’ve fostered since Elizabeth gave birth to Damian in 2002 after her relationship with American film producer Steve Bing had already ended. (Bing died by suicide in 2020.)

“When you’re an only child with a single parent, the facade of ‘I’m the adult, and you’re the child who is going to listen to me’ goes quite fast,” Damian says in a new issue of PEOPLE. He even compares their dynamic to that of siblings — scratch that, twins. “We are very, very similar,” he adds. “We are twin-like.”

“When we gel and everything's phenomenal, it's the best, because it's like working with yourself, you're just on a roll,” the first-time director — who’s a model and drama school graduate — says of working with his mother.

“Of course the second you disagree, you're reacting exactly the same but driving each other demented,” he continues. “But I think that a certain amount of driving each other demented is healthy in any relationship.”
