Enzo Maresca could be without three Chelsea players for the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday. The Blues sit in fourth place in the table, above their opponents on goal difference.

The positions places emphasis on the game, but Maresca has one major injury worry for the match at Stamford Bridge. Cole Palmer was on the end of a Lisandro Martinez challenge in the closing stages of last week’s clash against Manchester United.

It has been revealed that he is yet to train since that game. Palmer’s absence against Noah in the UEFA Conference League was planned, but Maresca has revealed that he is still a doubt for the game vs Arsenal.

Speaking ahead of the match , the Italian said: "He's better. He's getting better. If he can walk and have dinner, that doesn't mean he is completely fit.

“He's getting better. Hopefully we can have him for the session at least on Saturday and then we can take a decision."

If Palmer is not able to make it back to fitness in time, then it would be a huge blow to Chelsea. In his 10 Premier League appearances so far this season, he has scored seven times and provided a further five assists.

Another player who is a doubt is Jadon Sancho the winger has missed the last two games with illness and a knock. Maresca revealed before the game against Noah that he will be back after the international break if he doesn’t make it in time for the Arsenal clash.
