Estevao Willian is "ready to play in the Premier League" for Chelsea. That is according to fellow Brazilian and former Tottenham midfielder Sandro, who believes Spurs should have actually moved for the youngster first.

Making a real name for himself in his home country of Brazil, Estevao was announced as a Chelsea signing back in June after the west London club struck a deal with Palmeiras worth an initial £29million plus add-ons. The teenager will officially make the move to Stamford Bridge next summer.

Already boasting some excellent attacking options at the club, head coach Enzo Maresca will have Estevao to call upon from next season and the attacker will be looking to make a real mark in the Premier League. Sandro rates Estevao that highly that he has stated that he "can change the future for Brazil".

"All I can say about Estevao Willian is that Spurs should’ve bought him first," said Sandro when speaking to OnlineCassino.com.br. "He is a great player and has shown in the last few years that he can take players on, shoot and is so skillful. He is an exciting player to watch.

"I’m not happy that he’s signed for Chelsea but he is the sort of player that can change the future for Brazil, he is one of those players. He is a top player and I think he’s ready to play in the Premier League, as long as Chelsea give him time to find his best level and take that next step.

"There is a massive difference between football in Brazil and the Premier League, but If he trains hard then he can be one of Chelsea and Brazil’s top players."

Sandro also spoke about Neymar and the possibility of a Premier League move at some point in the future. The 32-year-old is currently with Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia and the ex-Tottenham man believes it is only Man City or Chelsea who could lure him to England.

"I would love Neymar to join Tottenham more than anything, but being realistic there are only two clubs I could see him at," confessed Sandro. "I can only see Neymar at Manchester City, thanks to their success, their style of play and Pep Guardiola.

"The other club is Chelsea, who are willing to spend and would give him a chance to take them back to the top. I just think that any player who gets an opportunity has to go and play in the Premier League and it’s no different for Neymar. He’d enjoy every minute of it and I hope it happens."
