Every word Enzo Maresca said on Chelsea win, Levi Colwill treatment, Enzo Fernandez performance
Enzo Maresca has just finished speaking to the media following Chelsea's 2-1 win over Leicester City.
The Italian, who led the Foxes to the Championship title last season, returned to the King Power Stadium for the first time since he left the club to join the Blues. His side went 1-0 up very early on in the early kick-off through a fine Nicolas Jackson finish.
Chelsea dominated the match but it took them exactly an hour to grab their second goal of the game. Enzo Fernandez was following up after Jackson's initial header was saved. Jordan Ayew scored from the penalty spot in stoppage time to ensure a bit of a nervy finish for the visitors.

Here is every word Maresca had to say on the match...
An important win today...
"Yeah. All of the games are important and today has been important to win the game. But in the same way as it has been in the past when we have won some games."
Cole Palmer played 90 minutes today. He played 90 minutes before the break but was unfit to play for England. During the break, Harry Kane spoke strongly about that and believes some clubs are putting pressure on them. What is your reaction to that?
"My reaction is that we finished the game 10 minutes ago, we won 2-1 and the rest, there is not any reaction, there are no comments. We finished the game 10 minutes ago.
"I am not thinking about Harry Kane or what he's saying. I don't have any comments about this."
Are the club putting pressure on him not to play for England?
"Me? Absolutely not."
What level can Nicolas Jackson get to?
"For me, he is doing very well. I have said many times, since we started, he is working hard on the ball and off the ball. He is making an effort to understand the way we want to play.
"Sometimes we use him almost as a midfielder, dropping. Sometimes we use him attacking in behind. If you remember Brighton, or even today. It depends on the game-plan.
"We are very happy with the way Nico is playing on the ball but especially in the way he is playing off the ball - the way he is pressing. In this moment, we are very happy and we are sure he is going to get better game after game."
How bad is the injury and illness to Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto?
"Malo was with us but during the night, he unfortunately did not feel well in terms of ill. Pedro, he had a problem with his international team. There was a chance he could be with us but we didn't take any risks for this game and hopefully he can be available for the next game."
Is that why you had two goalkeepers on the bench?
"Yes, exactly."
Do you think Cole Palmer needs more protection from referees?
"I don't think Cole is the target. I don't think that. What I think, and I said after the Manchester United game, when there is bad intention, there has to be a different kind of punishment from the referee. I think Man United was bad intention.
"I'm not saying Wilf [Ndidi] was bad intention because I love Wilf. Overall, when there is bad intention, I think the punishment has to be different."
Does there need to be more protection from the referees?
"It's not that we want it to be just our players. For me, it's general; if any team has bad intention for another player then probably the punishment has to be different."
Do you think it should have been a red card?
"Today's foul? I don't think so. I saw the clip and I don't think it is a red, to be honest. The other one [vs Manchester United] I said that was a red card, for sure."
Any updates on Reece James? Is he having a scan?
"We didn't have any update on Reece. We still have to wait for some day when he is going to do a scan again and we will see."
How do you think Enzo Fernandez performed today?
"Enzo did really well today. He is doing very well since we started. The same as I said many times for Joao Felix, the problem is it depends on the game-plan; we use different kind of players.
"Today I thought was the right game to use Enzo even if he was back from international duty [late]. I think he did very well. I'm trying to convince Enzo in the same way as I did last year with Ndidi and Kiernan [Dewsbury-Hall] that attacking midfielders need to arrive in the box. The reason why he scored today was because he was inside the box and if he was outside of the box, he wouldn't have scored the goal. We are happy in the way Enzo is doing."
At full-time, Levi Colwill was getting extensive treatment. Can you tell us what was going on?
"Exactly the same as Malo. He didn't feel very well during the night and this morning. But he could play, finish the game, and hopefully it is nothing important."
