FA Cup second-round draw: Seventh-tier Alvechurch handed trip to Forest Green

The draw for the FA Cup second-round has taken place.

The lowest-ranked side, Alvechurch from the seventh-tier Southern Football League, will take on Forest Green after the League One side overcame lowly South Shields in the first round courtesy of a Connor Wickham stunner.

AFC Wimbledon, having been held by Weymouth on the weekend, will host Chesterfield in they can come through their replay. Charlton welcome Stockport of League Two to the Valley.

Wrexham and Farnborough face off to guarantee at least one non-league side in the third-round draw. Fifth-tier Ebbsfleet host Fleetwood, who are sat 15th in League One.

The winner of Barnet and Chelmsford’s replay will head for an away tie at Accrington. National League North leaders King’s Lynn are set for the visit of Stevenage.

Games will take place on the weekend of November 26.
