Fantasy Football: Updated RB rankings after J.K. Dobbins injury
Before Saturday's preseason finale, the Baltimore Ravens backfield had two intriguing fantasy draft options to consider for 2021. J.K. Dobbins, a third-round pick (ADP of 27.9), and Gus Edwards, typically coming off the board in the double-digit rounds, provided a one-two punch where both would have standalone fantasy value.
However, things shifted dramatically during the Ravens' final preseason game when Dobbins had to be carted off the field when his knee hyperextended when he was tackled on a screen pass. Unfortunately, Dobbins is expected to miss the entire season after suffering a knee injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Instantly, Edwards moves into the RB2 range, with the expectation that he will get the majority of the carries in a run-heavy offense.
