Former Aston Villa star laughs in Luis Suarez's face as Lionel Messi denied in shock defeat
Former Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan had the last laugh with Luis Suarez as Lionel Messi's Inter Miami were dumped out of the MLS Cup.
Co-owned by ex-England captain David Beckham, Inter Miami lost 3-2 to Atlanta United in the play-offs on Saturday. They were expected to get past Atlanta and reach the next round, but they stunned the Florida side and Guzan was right in the middle of the action.
Jamal Thiare scored twice in four first half minutes to put the away side in front after Matias Rojas' opener. Then Messi equalised in the 65th minute, before he tangled with the ex-Villa 'keeper when trying to retrieve the ball.

Guzan was then barged into the goal by Miami's Leonardo Campana, before Suarez rushed over to the American and wagged his finger. Former Liverpool striker Suarez was seen complaining throughout the match, while Guzan was spotted laughing in his face before his side remarkably beat Miami.
Bartosz Slisz, who played against Villa last season for Legia Warsaw, scored the winner for Atlanta just 11 minutes later to eliminate the Supporters Shield winners.
Guzan made a total of seven saves to play a key role in the club's triumph at the Chase Stadium. He turned 40 years of age in September and has been capped 64 times at international level with the United States.
He played for Villa between 2008 and 2016, going out on loan once to Hull City in 2011, before joining Middlesbrough and then moving to Atlanta in 2017.
