Former Brook Hill pitching standout in midst of solid season at TJC

Apr. 2—TYLER — Former Brook Hill pitching standout Grayson Murry is making the most of his final season as a Tyler Junior College Apaches.

In 10 games this season, Murry is 6-2 and owns a 3.27 earned run average.

He has started seven games and has pitched one complete game.

The tall right-hander has tossed 44 innings and has given up 32 hits and has fanned 55 opposing hitters while issuing 34 base on balls.

Murry leads the Apaches in wins, innings pitched and strike outs.

TJC (27-9, 12-6 Region XIV), who topped TCS Post Grad, 15-6, in Melissa Monday night, will return to conference play at 1 p.m. Wednesday by entertaining Bossier Parish (La.) Community College.
