Full Chelsea squad revealed vs Nottingham Forest as Reece James decision made

Mauricio Pochettino, Manager of Chelsea, gives the team instructions

Chelsea return to action on Saturday evening when they visit Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are battling to secure European football with the Blues sitting seventh in the table with three games left. Their current position would secure a place in next season's Europa Conference League, but they will have eyes on a top six finish which will earn a Europa League place.

The Blues are two points off Newcastle United in sixth and six off Tottenham Hotspur in fifth. They take on a Forest team this weekend who are battling against relegation. Nuno Espirito Santo's team are three points clear of the bottom three.

And Pochettino will be boosted for the visit to the City Ground after revealing in his pre-match press conference on Friday that club captain Rreece James could be available. Elsewhere, midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu has returned to full team training whilst goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is back in partial team training.

"The most important thing is for him [James] to be there with us," Pochettino said. "Always to have your captain is a massive boost. We have an amazing relationship and he is an amazing player.

"It's not easy when you come from a long-term injury. If he can play five, 10, 15, 20 [minutes] or half an hour, that would be amazing."
