Gary Neville sends 'clueless' warning to Ruben Amorim before Man United arrival
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has warned Ruben Amorim that he must deal with the club's lack of combinations when he arrives at Old Trafford.
United and Chelsea played out a drab affair at Old Trafford as Ruud van Nistelrooy manages the club for the first time in the Premier League. His side were free flowing in midweek as they brushed aside Leicester City in the Carabao Cup but have struggled to get going against Enzo Maresca's Chelsea.
When asked by commentator Peter Drury if Amorim will look to implement a 3-4-3 system immediately at Old Trafford, Neville explained that what he needs to implement is more fundamental than that. "I suspect the idea of implementing it during the season is a lot tougher than having pre-season with the team," he said.

"We have seen managers come in and have an immediate impact on the style of play and the patterns of play. He is going to have to do that as this team, when you watch them, it is almost as if the ball gets passed from one red shirt to another and they work out at the particular point it arrives at their foot what they are going to do next.
"Usually it is like clockwork when it is working, that's why it looks so awkward and so clunky when you watch United players as there is no real combinations at all." As United then tried to hurry Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, Neville sighed: "They are clueless at pressing [too]."
