Graham Potter was spotted at Tottenham Hotspur's match against Burnley on Saturday afternoon amid links with the Manchester United managerial role.

The Englishman has been out of work since his departure from Chelsea in April 2023 and has been tipped for a number of roles, including at Dutch giants Ajax, which he reportedly turned down twice amidst ongoing links to United.

The current manager at Old Trafford is Erik ten Hag, but his position has come under scrutiny due to disappointing performances and results throughout the 2023/24 season. This scrutiny has intensified following Monday night's 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Bookmakers currently have Potter as the third favourite at 5/1 to take over the reins at Manchester United, should there be a change ahead of next season. Only Thomas Tuchel (6/4) and Gareth Southgate (3/1) are ahead of him in the betting.

As speculation continues, the 48-year-old was seen at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon. It's unclear why he was at the game, other than perhaps to enjoy a Premier League fixture.

The Spurs job seems secure under Ange Postecoglou despite recent poor form, while Burnley, who are on the brink of relegation, have not been linked with Potter.

This follows two intriguing trends. Firstly, this isn't the first time Potter has been spotted at a Premier League match this season. Back in January, he was seen watching Arsenal vs Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.

Oliver Glasner was also spotted at Tottenham's home ground when they played against the Eagles earlier this season, just before he took over from Roy Hodgson at Selhurst Park.
