Green Brigade in five-word Celtic banner message to Rangers ahead of 'the fight'

The Green Brigade had a clear message for Rangers this afternoon after their side comfortably bested Hearts at Parkhead.

Celtic dismantled their opponents to go six points clear of their rivals with just three games remaining on their fixture calendar. Gers are in action tomorrow afternoon at Ibrox against Kilmarnock and could close the gap to just three points once again with a win over Derek McInnes' troops.

But it's not their game tomorrow that the Hoops ultras were passionate about with a banner they unfurled at full-time after today's comfortable 3-0 win over the Jambos thanks to goals from Kyogo (two) and Matt O'Riley. Their message was loud and clear ahead of next weekend's Old Firm derby clash at Parkhead as their banner read: "Impatient for the coming fight".

The two big guns of Glasgow go head to head on May 11 and the hosts on that day could potentially mathematically win the trophy on that day with a significant goal difference advantage already established.

Three points would make it difficult for Rangers to claw back their lead even if they win tomorrow afternoon and the GB are clearly ready for the scrap.
