What happened to Erling Haaland in Man City training amid injury concerns
Manchester City trained without Ruben Dias, John Stones and Jack Grealish on Monday - so when Erling Haaland dropped to the floor clutching his shin there will have been a second of fear that their injury crisis was about to get a whole lot worse.
Twenty four City players trained, boosted by a handful from the academy, with Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker both in the group after making their eagerly-awaited returns from injury at the weekend. Not all of the youngsters training will be with the squad who fly to Lisbon to face Sporting in the Champions League, and City will hope that Haaland is with them on Monday afternoon.
After City players warmed up with a running drill, they broke into small groups for a rondo drill for the final few minutes of open training - when media are allowed to watch and film the start of the session.

At one point, Haaland dropped to the ground without any contact, holding his shin and appearing to be in some pain. Phil Foden walked over to check on him, and quickly moved away without much concern. Haaland got to his feet, smiled, and continued with the drill.
He did not appear to be limping or in any further pain. Against Bournemouth on Saturday he was tackled late by Lewis Cook high on his shin after the midfielder had won the ball in a 50-50 challenge. Haaland continued and no action was taken against Cook.
City will announce their squad later for the flight to Lisbon, while Pep Guardiola will face the media in the evening after arriving in Portugal.
