A HEREFORDSHIRE karting star is starting to make waves on the circuit after clinching a title on his debut season.

Kyle Broad, from Hereford, has celebrated winning the newly formed Independent Privateers Karting Championship (IPKC) in his debut karting season.

In the winter of 2023, local karting enthusiast Broad decided to embark on a new adventure by entering the competitive world of kart racing.

With a fierce determination and a passion for speed, the Hereford driver set his sights on the newly formed IPKC, making 2024 his first competitive season.

The IPKC, spanning six challenging rounds across the UK, provided a diverse range of tracks and terrain.

Using his love for karting to his advantage Broad quickly adapted, honing his skills on each course.

Although he did not secure any outright wins, the Hereford driver’s consistent performance and a series of podium finishes at Hooton Park and Llandow made all the difference.

By consistently scoring valuable points at each round, Broad emerged as the IPKC Senior Rotax 177 Champion for 2024, a remarkable achievement in his debut season.

As he prepares for 2025, Broad has set his sights on defending his hard-earned title.

However, to fuel his racing ambitions, the karting enthusiast is seeking sponsorship from local businesses.

Broad is offering comprehensive sponsorship packages, designed to benefit sponsors as much as they support his journey.

Those interested in supporting a local champion are encouraged to reach out to him on Facebook at KBR Karting Team.

Broad’s success is a testament to his dedication and commitment to the sport, and he is now looking forward to an even more successful season ahead.
