Cosm installed several 8K cameras around Wrexham's Racecourse Ground ahead of the match to capture all angles.
Always Sunny colleagues Kaitlin Olson, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton were also in attendance, alongside fans and and several NFL stars.
Last night's game was a tight affair with the scores tied at 0-0 until the 92nd minute when Wrexham midfielder Ollie Rathbone capped off a marauding run with an excellent long range finish.
It secured victory for Phil Parkinson's side who are currently second in the table and chasing an unprecedented third successive promotion.
The Red Dragons are two points behind league leaders Wycombe Wanderers having played a game more.
Footage shared by Cosm on X showed the moment the Always Sunny stars jubilantly celebrated the winning goal.
DeVito can be seen high-fiving other fans and pumping his fists in the air as McElhenney grins in delight.
Cans of Wrexham Lager, the brand recently bought by McElhenney and Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds, can also be seen on the tables.
Wrexham supporters reacted with astonishment on social media, with the Rob Ryan Red podcast saying: "Danny Devito giving out high fives as Wrexham nick it against Barnsley. What a world we live in."
Another said: "Bring him to Wrexham @RMcElhenney so we can all bask in his glory."
Last month, supporters named DeVito as the Hollywood star they'd love to see visit the Racecourse next.
It followed a social media post by McElhenney celebrating his co-stars 80th birthday.
In a glowing tribute, the actor shared a picture of his friend, who he described as an "American treasure".
He said: "This man was born 80 years ago today. He could still drink you under the table. He could still make you laugh harder than anyone you’ve ever met. He could still make you feel like you’re the only person in the room.
"He could still give you the best advice you’ve ever gotten and make you feel loved no matter what. He’s an American treasure. There is only one @DannyDeVito"
