'Hopefully we can have some fun' - Hull City boss delivers striker deal verdict
Hull City head coach Tim Walter says Tyrell Sellars-Fleming is a big part of his first team squad going forward after the youngster signed a new contract at the MKM Stadium.
The 19-year-old has been in and out of Walter's squad in the early weeks of the new Championship campaign and was rewarded for his impressive progress with a deal which runs until June 2027, with the club holding a 12-month option to extend it further.
Sellars-Fleming is yet to get off the mark in a senior game for City, though he did see a legitimate goal ruled out for offside against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup exit back in August but he has been hitting the net regularly for the Under-21s in recent weeks with his sixth goal in three games coming on Tuesday night as Conor Sellars' side saw their sensational seven-game winning run ended at York City's LNER Stadium against leaders Sheffield United.

City's frontman has made eight appearances for the Tigers, with four coming last term under Liam Rosenior and four this, having made his debut at QPR in December last year, and after the club's failure to bring in another striker in the summer transfer window, the former Gainsborough Trinty starlet could get his chance, and he's highly-rated by his manager.
"He’s a brilliant boy and has good abilities," the German told Hull Live. "I am happy he has signed a new contract. He has scored five times in the last two games [for the Under-21s prior to the game against Sheffield United on Tuesday]. He is a brilliant striker, and hopefully, we will have a lot of fun with him."
