Hull City boss Ruben Selles delivers message to Tigers fans after making unbeaten start
Ruben Selles has stressed the importance of taking the Hull City supporters on the journey he hopes will see the Tigers become a success in the Championship.
The Spaniard was moments away from starting his tenure at City with a victory, only to be denied by a late Watford equaliser in a 1-1 MKM Stadium draw.
Despite the flat feeling after dropping two points from a winning position, City's fans were right behind the new manager and have been since his appointment at the weekend.

Despite the late concession and subsequent understandable dismay at falling to win a game Selles' side deserved to claim maximum points from, all the players and staff were quick to venture onto the pitch and applaud the supporters, who had backed them well throughout the night, and were well received in return.
It's a far cry from the strained relationship between the fans and former boss, Tim Walter, and Selles says it's important to show that respect for the backing the fans give,
"We did that, and we continue doing that at the end of the game because they have been supporting us for 95 minutes." the Spaniard told Hull Live. "They have been with the team, and you can feel the atmosphere from the very beginning, so it's a way to say thank you. It's nothing more, nothing less than that, and I think they appreciate that.
"We can win or lose football matches. That's part of the business. If I lose more than I win, I probably will have a short run as a manager in any club; not only here, but we need to respect the fans, and we are here for them.
"We need to thank them when we finish the game, it's just pretty simple and what they will find from our side is an honest communication every single time.
"If the game is finished, they have been there for us for 95 minutes, and they have seen the players fighting for the team. I think it's just good to get this emotion a little bit together at the end, and then we move forward."
