Hull City rocked by another injury blow as forgotten man sidelined again
Hull City winger Dogukan Sinik has been plagued by yet another injury which will see him sidelined for another few weeks, delaying his comeback yet further.
The injury-prone Turkish international picked up the injury in training after colliding with goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, and will now miss the next six weeks, it's understood, in what is another significant blow to the 25-year-old.
Sinik has not played for City in more than a year but had recovered from his latest setback to feature on the bench against West Brom before the international break and would have been hoping to continue to build his fitness during the international break, ready for an appearance off the bench, especially in light of Mohamed Belloumi and Liam Millar both being sidelined with ACL injuries.

"He's got an injury," Walter told Hull Live. "He has another injury again but it's not that hard, maybe a few weeks, then he's out again, but it's not that hard.
"It's not easy (for Sinik), but we will help him because he's such a good guy and he's such a good player. We will help him to get out of this hole. He's still with us and he's trying to fight himself back and we will support him."
Since arriving in the summer of 2022, the Turkish international has played just 13 times for the first team with just one assist to his name. His last senior appearance came in a 3-0 defeat at Ipswich Town in October 2023, playing the final 22 minutes. The winger's MKM Stadium contract is set to expire next summer, though the club do hold an option for an extra 12 months.
Speaking last month about his frustrations since joining the Tigers, Sinik explained his sole wish for the remainder of the campaign was to get back on the pitch and end his injury nightmare, though, unfortunately for him, any hope of that has been further delayed.
"I was very happy to get on again," Sinik told the Tiger. "Overall, I am always happy to wear the Hull shirt, and I am happy to be back. We were very fortunate to have a training camp like we did. On a personal point, it was very useful for me coming back from a serious injury. It is difficult when you are away, and you can't see family, but in terms of training, getting back and getting fit again, it was a good opportunity."
"My main goal this season is to put the shirt on again as I am always happy when I get to wear it. To perform, add to the team, to help my teammates and my manager and meet his demands on the pitch is what I want. I want to get as much game time on the pitch as possible and to make the fans happy.
"So far in the last two years, some things have happened with me that weren't in my control sometimes. I can be at fault for some of them, but overall, some of the things weren't in my control. I know that I have been very unlucky so far in my Hull City career. I had to go through some unlucky things, but since coming back to the team last year, I have been feeling very positive, and now I just want to get back onto the pitch and give back to the club.
"I am just waiting for my chance. I am training and trying every day, working hard. My teammates are all helping me every day, and we have a very positive environment right now.
"I am very happy in Hull. My family is very happy in Hull. My wife and I love the club, the shirt, the stadium, the fans. The main thing that so far has brought my motivation down at any point is the fact that I haven't been able to give performances, which is now my goal."
