Hull City need to do something they have not done in three months vs Luton Town
Hull City will travel to Luton Town after the international break looking to do something they haven't done since August 24, more commonly known as the third game of the Championship season, against Millwall.
And that's restrict their opposition to zero in the goals for column. Since that shut out against the Lions, City have not kept a single clean sheet in the Championship, a run of 12 games.
Tim Walter's side are bottom of the table when it comes to keeping clean sheets, with only Plymouth - who have the second worst defensive record in the league behind Portsmouth - sharing their unenviable record of one so far in the opening 15 games.

They're not shipping huge amounts. Their 20 against sees them ranked 11th in the league, and they've only conceded more than two in a game, once, the 4-0 hammering at Norwich City before the last international break.
Speaking to Hull Live about the lack of clean sheets, Walter was relaxed and even joked when asked how much he would give to have a game where Ivor Pandur isn't picking the ball out of his own net.
"I'd give more for scoring three or four goals, that's maybe better because then we can concede two or three goals and we are still in front," the German explained in response to queries about City's inability to stop the ball going in their net.
The problem is his side aren't scoring three or four goals to do that. City have managed more than one goal in only three of their 15 games this season, and that came in the run of three wins on the spin against Stoke City, Cardiff City and QPR. They'e scored 16 goals, the 18th worst in the league.
In those 12 other games, City have either not scored or mustered just the one and therein lies the problem. But that said, even though though they're not scoring many, they did go into the lead in games against Burnley, Derby County and Portsmouth but those defensive issues stopped them getting more than the one point they did from each.
If City are to avoid being sucked further into what increasingly looks like a relegation battle, Walter must accept his cavalier style needs tweaking to see his side become more solid, and that must start at Kenilworth Road.
