Ian Wright offers clear instructions to Arne Slot to ensure Liverpool wins Premier League
Ian Wright believes Liverpool has what it takes to become Premier League champions following a sensational start to the season.
The Reds sit five points clear at the top of the table after 11 games, with Arne Slot having led them to nine wins during that run. Not only that, but Liverpool has also climbed to the top of the league phase in the Champions League, marking them as the best side in Europe at the moment, while also reaching the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup.
The team's latest win over Aston Villa saw it take full advantage of its biggest rivals faltering again, with Manchester City losing at Brighton while Arsenal could only manage a draw at Chelsea. Liverpool though still has a long way to go until it can celebrate any potential silverware.

The Reds face a huge set of fixtures after the international break, with Real Madrid set to visit Anfield in the Champions League just days before City arrive on Merseyside. Things don’t get much easier thereafter, with tricky away fixtures at Newcastle and Everton to follow.
Arsenal legend Wright though believes Liverpool can go the distance, and relayed a simple message that he believes could lead them to the Premier League crown.
“They have got the kind of quality, that on the break, bam, you’re in trouble,” he said on the latest episode of his podcast Wrighty’s House.
“They look very calm, the manager is calm, they seem to be playing a lot more football that when the opportunity comes to break, they break very, very well.
“They are taking it one game at a time, which is perfect. If they continue doing that, they will win the league, as simple as that. If they continue doing that, they will win the league. So, it’s up to people to try and catch them.”
Liverpool.com says: We’re certainly not going to count our chickens yet, but there plenty of promising signs for Liverpool at the moment. It’s still very early days in the season, and we will find out a lot more about how the season will pan out after the international break – not just at Anfield, but at City and Arsenal as well.
Hopefully Liverpool’s international players can come through the break unscathed and return fit and firing ready for a crucial set of fixtures. If they can head into January still top of the league, then something special may be in store this season.
