Ianis Hagi breaks Rangers return silence after major Philippe Clement U-turn over his Ibrox future

Ianis Hagi has broken his Rangers silence after RETURNING to the first-team fold.

The Romania international has been training and turning out for the B team of late after being told he could depart Ibrox. Philippe Clement held talks with the player and his agent but he was unable to secure a move away during the summer window with a large number of supporters making it clear they wanted him back involved in the top team.

However, there has now been a major U-turn between the player and club and “that a solution has been reached following dialogue between the two parties with a desire to resolve the situation expressed on either side". The Light Blues broke the news online by showing Hagi taking part in the first-team training with Clement and Co preparing for their Europa League showdown with Lyon. They won on the road at Malmo on matchday one and have won their last four games without conceding.

Sharing a snap of himself back with the Rangers first-team, Hagi simply posted: "BACK!" alongside a blue love heart emoji and tagging the club.

Fans flooded to the comments of Rangers' post to express their delight. One wrote: "Hagi!!!!!!!!! Fantastic another option. Common sense this." Another posted: "Made me day, cheers lads." A further buzzing fan simply said: "Yasss."
