Jaguars vs. Eagles channel today: Start time, TV, live stream for Week 9 game
The Jacksonville Jaguars will hit the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFL Week 9 battle between two teams who are improving in recent weeks.
The Jaguars (2-6) have recovered to some degree from a poor start to 2024. After losing four straight, Jacksonville has gone 2-2 in the last month, including a win over an AFC South rival in the Indianapolis Colts. Last week saw the Jaguars fall to the Green Bay Packers, but Jacksonville came back to tie the game after trailing by 10 in the fourth quarter, only to lose thanks to a field goal as time expired. Despite losing wide receiver Christian Kirk to a season-ending broken collarbone, quarterback Trevor Lawrence topped 300 passing yards in the game, an indicator that the Jaguars offense might be finding some traction.
Philadelphia (5-2) has stormed out of a Week 5 bye, picking up three straight wins while showing serious defensive improvement. Opponents had scored 24.5 points per game against the Eagles before the off week, but have averaged just 12 in the team's last three outings.
Last week's 37-17 road win over the Cincinnati Bengals may have been the best game of the season thus far for Philadelphia, who created two fourth-quarter turnovers on defense to lock down the win. A rushing attack built around running back Saquon Barkley (108 rushing yards) and quarterback Jalen Hurts (three touchdowns on the ground) proved too much for Cincinnati, and will be a real test for Jacksonville.
