Kasey Palmer is relishing the upcoming double-header against the USA in the Concacaf Nations League as Jamaica look to progress into the semi-finals of the competition.

The Hull City star signed off for his latest international foray on Sunday against West Brom after playing the final eight minutes in the Tigers' disappointing 2-1 home defeat.

Jamaica face the USA at the National Stadium in Kingston in the early hours of Friday morning in the first leg of the quarter-final before the second leg at CityPark in St. Louis the following Tuesday in what will be Mauricio Pochettino's first home game in charge, and Palmer will be desperate to be involved in the two games.

Reggae Boyz head coach Steve McClaren was at the MKM Stadium for City's 1-1 draw with Portsmouth at the beginning of the month to see the 27-year-old in action, but Palmer missed the former Tigers midfielder after his 28-minute second half cameo.

"He called me pretty much straight after the game, I tried to catch up with him, but I don't know what conversations he was having upstairs with who, so I don't know what he was doing, but I spoke to him on the way home in the car," an excited Palmer told Hull Live. "We've got another international camp coming up (which I can't wait for).

"We've got two big games in the quarter-final against America, and if we can win them, I'll come back very happy. It's going to be big for us, that's a massive game in that region, so if we can get a result there, it would be huge."
