Kemar Roofe and Borna Barisic's Ibrox farewells proved damp squibs as the long-serving duo said their goodbyes.

Injury-hit striker Roofe was subbed on during the dying minutes of last night's 5-2 comeback win over Dundee as the Jamaican made his home appearance. Roofe's four years in Glasgow has been derailed with never-ending fitness issues since making the £4.5million move from Anderlecht but the 31-year-old still popped up with some big goals domestically and in Europe.

However, the ex-Leeds United frontman confirmed last night that he would be departing when his contract expires this summer. Posting a picture of himself waving to the Rangers crowd, Roofe said: "IBROX it's been a pleasure... thanks for having me."

Meanwhile Croatian defender Barisic cut an emotional figure as he showed his appreciation to the small crowd who stayed behind for the traditional end of season lap of honour.

It's understood the left-back has agreed to join Turkish side Trabzonspor on a pre-contract this summer after six seasons in Govan, winning three trophies. Barisic was pictured walking around the stadium on his own as he paused for a moment of reflection and clapped the fans. But he wasn't given a send-off by the Union Bears as the club ultras made their feelings clear in the wake of Saturday's defeat at Celtic Park by heading for the exits bang on full-time.

The 31-year-old was left as an unused sub by Philippe Clement as Gers fought back from two goals down to overcome Dundee and delay Celtic's inevitable title party for another 24 hours. The Hoops can officially clinch three-in-a-row tonight by earning at least a point at Rugby Park.
