Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has endured a difficult start to his Chelsea career. The 26-year-old joined the Blues from Leicester for £30million in the summer but hasn't made the desired impact many were hoping for.

In fact, the Shepshed-born midfielder has failed to make a single Premier League start since his move to Stamford Bridge, playing just 43 minutes in the top flight. Dewsbury-Hall had been a regular starter in the Europa Conference League and Carabao Cup, but was even left out of the XI to take on Noah on Thursday.

There has already been speculation rising over Dewsbury-Hall's future and his current position in the pecking order in west London - despite only arriving less than six months ago. Injuries to key men, such as Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez, could boost his game time but it's not looking promising right now.

After the 8-0 win over Noah, Dewsbury-Hall - who came on at half-time and played the entire second-half against the Armenian side - took to Instagram to share a photo from the game. He posted on his story one of him with the ball at his feet, sharing the location but any sign of a caption was not present.

Dewsbury-Hall last posted after scoring his first Chelsea goal during a 4-2 win over Genk in the Conference League and appears to be keeping silent over his recent form and trying to knuckle down and win his place back instead. Dewsbury-Hall could return to the squad for the clash with Arsenal on Sunday, having failed to make the bench in each of their last two Premier League matches.

The Blues are aiming to guarantee their place in the top four ahead of the international break and Maresca is prepared for another difficult test, despite Arsenal's recent blip in form.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Enzo Maresca said: "We're always looking for something different, no matter if it's Arsenal or another team, to see how we can attack and defend in the right way.

"We did that this season against any team. For sure, Arsenal is the closest one to the best team in England, that is City. But we’re going to try to do our game, prepare in the best way we can and try to win."
