Ian Begley: Matt Ryan, former Iona Prep star and Mr. Basketball in NY, will be on a one-year standard NBA deal with the Knicks that will be nonguaranteed, per SNY league sources. Ryan, a 6-7 wing, shot 45 percent on threes last season in New Orleans.
