Kobbie Mainoo shows true colours on Ruben Amorim after Man United arrival
New Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has been meeting some of his players for the first time after arriving in England earlier this week.
Amorim was appointed as the successor to Erik ten Hag at the start of the month before officially starting his role this week. After flying from Portugal just hours after Sporting CP's 4-2 win over Braga on Sunday, Amorim met with the non-international United players who were in the building to continue their own rehab from recent injuries.
On social media, United posted a series of pictures of Amorim in conversation with players. Kobbie Mainoo, Leny Yoro, Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Toby Collyer were all included in the album.

And less than an hour after the pictures were put on Instagram, Mainoo shared the post on his personal story. The midfielder is conversing with Amorim in one image before hugging the United boss.
Mainoo is currently out injured after missing the last seven games with a muscle problem. He hasn't played since the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa in October but is in contention to return to the squad in next weekend's trip to Ipswich Town.
Non-internationals were at Carrington on Monday to meet their new boss before enjoying some time off for the rest of the week. Work on the training pitches will hit top gear next week.
