Larne FC lead the tributes after sad passing of long-time club volunteer
Larne Football Club have led the tributes following the sad passing of one of its media team members and long time volunteer Bill Guiller. The club and wider Irish League family was rocked by the shock news of Bill's passing on Tuesday.
He was a familiar face around Inver Park down the years as he helped capture some of Larne's special memories in recent seasons. The well-known and respected photographer had a keen interest in the Irish League with his beloved Larne leading the tributes.
"Everyone at Larne Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Bill Guiller, a long-standing volunteer and member of our media team," the club posted on social media. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Bill’s family and friends at this difficult time."

Cliftonville striker Joe Gormley also paid his respects posting: "Sad to hear this, captured some amazing memories for myself and my family, thoughts and prayers with Bill's family, such a lovely guy."
Larne's Tomas Cosgrove echoed those sentiments posting: "Awful news really great guy and always up for a laugh." Cosgrove's teammate Paul O'Neill posted: "What a man he was, thoughts with his family."
"Really sorry to hear this…Bill was a gentleman, some great chats with him! Thoughts and prayers with the family," posted Ballymena United defender Caolan Loughran. Former Irish League star Chris Ramsey, who played for Larne during his career, posted: "Very sorry to hear this. Thoughts are with Bill's family and friends."
Another former Irish League star and current photographer, Dessie Loughrey, paid an emotional tribute posting: "Have to say I'm gutted to hear that great friend wee Bill Guiller has passed away today so sad. Top man and an all round great bloke most fans would have seen him at Larne games taking pictures, he will be missed. RIP Bill."
Larne assistant manager Gary Haveron also paid a heartfelt tribute to Bill posting: "So many memories captured for us all Bill...you will be sadly missed."
