Leeds United have been walking a tightrope with a number of players of late having picked up their fare share of yellow cards so far this season. Leeds defenders Joe Rodon and Jayden Bogle both sit on four yellow cards and know that one more will see them have to sit out a match with a ban, which is exactly what Junior Firpo will now have to do after collecting his fifth yellow card of the campaign against Watford.

The left-back was cautioned in the second half at Elland Road on Tuesday night after he pulled back Festy Ebosele as he attempted to go around the defender and get to the byline. A fifth yellow will mean Firpo sits out Saturday's lunchtime game away at Bristol City, a game that may also see Leeds without Largie Ramazani.

The winger hobbled out the match with Watford after opening the scoring for the hosts at Elland Road, and is now a major doubt for the weekend. Leeds boss Daniel Farke is already without Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev and Max Wober for he game at Ashton Gate, leaving the Whites' small squad short on senior names.

The loss of Firpo is likely to give Sam Byram an opportunity at left-back, while Manor Solomon was a replacement for Ramazani against Watford and would be expected to continue in the role on Saturday.
