Leeds United are managing to stay under the radar of expectation so far this season - but former Whites star Stuart Dallas feels they are in an excellent position.

Saturday's frustrating goalless draw at Bristol City saw Daniel Farke's side stay in touch with league leaders Sunderland, but they're in good shape at this stage of the season. While Farke would have liked to have returned from the South West with all three points, he knows his side have come up against all their likely promotion contenders now, with only that 1-0 home defeat to Burnley to blot the copybook.

Dallas, who played 266 times in a Leeds shirt before retiring due to inury last summer, has been hugely impressed with how his former sde have started the season, even if they're not making the headlines just yet. Sunderland's surprising start has caught the eye, while Burnley and Sheffield United's form after relegation from the Premier League was always going to be a centre of focus.

"Everybody is delighted with the start that they've had," Dallas told Sky Sports ahead of the goalless draw at Ashton Gate. "The last couple of games have been really, really impressive. Even the two games that they drew against Norwich and Sunderland, I thought they were brilliant both times.

"So they're moving along nicely and going under the radar, and rightly so, especially because of the start Sunderland in particular have had, but they're ticking along nicely."

Leeds have the chance to continue their unbeaten run when Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle come to Elland Road next weekend. The Pilgrims fought back from 3-1 down to earn a point in a 3-3 draw with Preston North End yesterday, with Leeds United loanee Sam Greenwood on the scoresheet for the Lillywhites.
