Leeds United transfer debrief - €15m exit clause emerges and latest ‘crazy’ Jack Harrison twist
Eintracht Frankfurt's CEO Markus Krösche has hailed Rasmus Kristensen's contribution this season. The Leeds United-owned right-back has caught the eye for the Bundesliga side this season, making 12 appearances across all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign.
“We are totally happy with him, he is a significant part of the group," Krösche told German publication Bild, via Sport Witness. "He has brought in a winning mentality and aggression. He’s someone who pushes the youngsters and supports them positively, but also gives them a hard time. Rasmus is extremely important for us."
Frankfurt have previously expressed their desire to hold talks with the Whites over the possibility of signing Kristensen on a full time basis. The Bild report claims that the German club have an option to make his stay permanent for €15m next summer.

Although Frankfurt are keen to retain Kristensen's services, it is thought they are keen to negotiate a potential transfer fee. Bild say they want to pay "well below €10m" for the 27-year-old. It remains unclear what price United would be willing to accept for Kristensen.
The full-back has not played since October 27 due to injury but is expected to return to action after the international break.
Harrison uncertainty
Winger Jack Harrison has yet to hit top form for Everton this season. Since returning to Goodison Park last summer, the United attacker has contributed zero goals or assists in 11 Premier League matches.
It is Harrison's second season on loan with the Toffees, but he has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot. It looks increasingly unlikely that the Toffees will look to buy him on a permanent basis come next summer. EFL pundit Don Goodman told MOT Leeds News: “The contract scenario came under the previous regime – they handed out crazy contracts and that left the club in trouble when they went down.
“It’s another example of the previous regime’s inadequacy really. They’re literally throwing money down the drain if this scenario happens. You cannot blame anyone at the club right now for that.
“Jack Harrison is fighting some quality players at Everton and that’s not easy. At this moment he’s not really winning that battle. It looks like even he himself may be in a bit of turmoil if it’s a season’s loan and he’s not playing – he’s kind of stuck unless he can find another Premier League club to take him on loan, so it’s a mess all around really.”
